INTRODUCTION TO TACTICAL PISTOL
Prerequisite: None
Class Size: 8–20
This course is designed to develop the foundation of combative shooting skills needed in a tactical setting. The student will exercise these skills in a variety of shooting situations. The student will gain experience, confidence and increase their skill level with their handgun.

⦁ Fundamentals of Shooting
⦁ Stance, Trigger control, Sight Alignment
⦁ Range shooting vs Combat Shooting
⦁ Gear setup
⦁ Weapon Selection
⦁ Malfunctions drills
⦁ Reloading (combat, tactical)
⦁ Cover/Concealment
⦁ Weapon Application
Ammunition requirements: 500 rounds of ammunition (approximate)
Gear list: Pistol, holster, stiff pistol belt, three magazines, magazine holders, belt, wraparound eye protection, ear protection, water bottle, baseball style or brimmed cap.
